Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation

The Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) was established in the year 1981 with the specific objective of creating infrastructure facilities in the identified Industrial Estate/Areas for rapid and orderly establishment and growth of Industries, trade and commerce. It has been declared as the Nodal Agency for providing industrial infrastructure in the State of Orissa.

Orissa Mining Corporation Ltd.

The OMC Ltd was established in 1956 as a joint sector with the Govt. of India to explore & harness mineral wealth of the State. Subsequently in 1962, it became a wholly State owned Corporation of Govt. of Orissa. OMC’s impressive growth over the decades is hinged on its philosophy and commitment towards quality and value addition. The Corporation’s turnover has increased manifold over the years through optimum utilization of resources, cost controlling measures, computerized inventory management, energy audit, asset up-gradation and Enterprise Resource Planning. Department Of Water Resources Development

Orissa started a number of multi-purpose, major, medium & minor irrigation projects in successive Plan periods. In the initial stages, major & medium irrigation project works were looked after by Works Department & minor (flow) irrigation works were under the control of Revenue Department.
