| After the introduction of the Industrial Promotion Resolution 2001 a large number industrial/corporate houses have shown interest for setting up their industrial units in the state. Such industrial units are expected to affect a large number of families. Realising this, the Govt. of Orissa with technical support from DFID and the UNDP have come up with a pro people comprehensive RandR Policy in 2006 taking into consideration the gaps in the RandR policies existing before 2006 in different sectors. |
